Lagalante

I wanted to have catering for a birthday I was celebrating at home together with a friend, and he mentioned that the owner Antonio of the restaurant Lagalante, where we love to eat, also does catering. We ordered different buffet dishes for a total of 25 people that could also be consumed cold: - Pulpo (Squid) salad with string beans and potato - Caponata - Suppli Cacio e Pepe style - Two chicken potato dishes (one with wings, one with drumsticks) - Mousse au Chocolat (pre-portioned) Antonio was very forthcoming in discussing a wide array of meal options in terms of budget, size and style (including vegetarian & gluten-free) and made great recommendations. We were able to pick up everything on time and every dish ended up tasting amazing, all the guests loved it. Highly recommended for a tasty and hassle-free birthday!

The service was friendly and attentive, the courses delicious and the plating gorgeous.

We came to Lagalante last week and had two first courses and the lamb which was amazing!! The meat was very well cooked and the tenderness was remarkable. We were told it was cooked for several hours and underwent an entire cooking process with different steps- we could taste each of them! The dinner was accompanied by a nice red wine from a little farm in Italy, which was recommended by the waitress. All the staff, especially Emanuele's service was impeccable and client centric. We'll definitely come back ! Grazie!

Top italian restaurant in Berlin! Impeccable chef and service, we ate the best Italian food in Berlin. Small place, lots of satisfaction. All fresh and very delicius. We will definitely be back to visit Antonio, one of the best chefs in the area! Attached are photos of a couple of the dishes we ate, truly the best.

Absolutely gorgeous food and service. Only 4 stars for a bit loud ambiance. All in all- best Italian food in Berlin.

Nice Italian food, friendly and accommodating stuff although maybe one person for all tables was too little. For that price range I would expect some more care around the dishes in terms of presenting them and talking them through. The deer meat was exceptional. We got it twice but the portions seemed very different in the plates with one bring significantly smaller. We enjoyed the small restaurant but for that price I think we'd probably try exploring new ones instead of revisiting.

Beautiful, stylish restaurant with creative chef, very kind service speaking in various languages, fast serving. Food was absolutely amazing. The combinations as well as taste itself. I would say the best authentic Italian meals I had so far in Berlin. I fully recommend figs with burrata as appetizer as well as linguine with sea food accompanied by fabulous tiramisu.

Had dinner there last week. They didn’t have the duck which instead was replaced with lamb. The meat was perfectly cooked and the whole plate was amazing! Starter and dessert also top class.
